In 2009, ESN celebrates its 20th anniversary. As a part of the celebrations, ESN conducts a large-scale fundraising campaign - Give20. Give20 aims at raising funds through regular and special activities in all the ESN local sections, as well as at the national and international level of ESN. The money raised will be entirely donated to UNICEF - to one of their projects connected to education

Through the Give20 campaign, ESN members and international students from all over Europe want to contribute to improving the living conditions of children from developing countries by providing them access to primary education.

The project is launched in cooperation with UNICEF. ESN and UNICEF have concluded a Memorandum of Understanding in which both parties show their awareness of the project and sincere support of the initiative.

The project runs from October 2008 to October 2009. During this period, local ESN sections are encouraged to organize various activities and events through which they will fundraise and collect money for Give20 and for the children. Sections are also invited to involve their international students as well as general public in the fundraising activities.
